Dancing About Architecture was conceived during the fall 2013 semester at the Graduate School of Design. The project takes a look at the corolations between space, movement, and human proportions.
Examples are drawn from Trattato di Architecttura di Francesco di Giorgio Martini, Marcel Duchamp, Le Corbusier, Leonardo Di Vinci, and Eric Owen Moss. The images and diagrams above different aspects of the human proportion and its relationship to space and movement.
The examples are created through the use of processing, marching cubes, and a kinect.  The form of person in view is traced in 3 dimensions through time.  A portion of the "performance" is taken into Cinema 4D and rendered. Serving as a remnant of the movement that had just taken place.
